St. Patrick's Day Treat

Have you been lucky enough to grab a box of these at the grocery store?

We are always excited at our house when St. Patrick's Day rolls around because our little fella is allergic to red dye and we can buy Lucky Charms with NO RED DYE!
Okay, so maybe buying three of the family size boxes was a little much, but we found a great way to give them a new twist.

Marshmallow Treats

How sweet are these?!? : )

You can make your own at home (in the microwave) with four cups of marshmallows, three tablespoons of melted butter, 5 to 6 cups of Lucky Charms (St. Patrick's Day Edition used here), a microwave safe bowl, cooking spray and a 9x13 cake pan. Heat the marshmallows in the microwave, then fold in the butter. Gently fold in cereal and place in a sprayed cake pan to set!
Yes you can make this without pulling out a double-boiler, the greatness of a microwave.
